Will Black Christians be turned as White as Snow before they go to Heaven?
If this statement is true, then there will be no Blacks in Heaven.
You are: witnessofJesus Your Answer: if you are talking about sins , the bibble says "yes"
if you are talking about skin color,
there is a possibility that the resurrected body can be changed in skin color, yes, also, whether one merits it or whether one is punished for hate crimes.
i believe that Cain was punished with a mark.
most people dont disagree with that, but some LDS once taught that skin color was connected to Cain (this may or may not be an interpretation in error ) and i know the book of mormon says that the Lamanites were changed in their skin color because of sin, and it also describes Mary the mother of jesus as having pure white skin.
the theology of the origin of skin color is undeniably from God.
in the LDS church and christianity around the world ( i think) in 18th century, there was the teachings that dark skin color was a judgment against people that were NOT as valiant in the pre existence.
to answer your question directly, if these things are true, and taught correctly, if a man were wholey valiant in this life reason would say a man could be given a different skin color. because of the justice and judgment of the Lord.
like ive said, i am clearly convinced that there is NO superior race.
there is faith and there is Exaltation. those that obtain the promise of exaltation are those that Live their life Above reproach and forsake their sins, and are valiant. diligently valiant.
overall, if God truly created skin color, he did so for a reason. and it would apply to resurrection and people who are resurrected do inhabit the kingdom of God. they also live in the flesh on the earth during the millenium.
i have a couple links to be added:
quotes from historical LDS leaders:

quote:
14 And it came to pass that I saw the aheavens open; and an angel came down and stood before me; and he said unto me: Nephi, what beholdest thou?
15 And I said unto him: A virgin, most beautiful and fair above all other virgins.
16 And he said unto me: Knowest thou the acondescension of God?
17 And I said unto him: I know that he loveth his children; nevertheless, I do not know the meaning of all things.
18 And he said unto me: Behold, the avirgin whom thou seest is the bmother of the Son of God, after the manner of the flesh.
19 And it came to pass that I beheld that she was carried away in the Spirit; and after she had been carried away in the Spirit for the space of a time the angel spake unto me, saying: Look!
20 And I looked and beheld the virgin again, bearing a child in her arms.
(this is the quote, i thought i read 20 years ago, which uses the white and pure skin - at least i think it is) Source(s) http://cid-fff19b48ee821aa4.skydrive.liv...
1 Nephi 11: (fair and white)
13 And it came to pass that I looked and beheld the great city of Jerusalem, and also other cities. And I beheld the city of Nazareth; and in the city of Nazareth I beheld a virgin, and she was exceedingly fair and white.

historical quotations about mark of cain and skin color
skin color is not the issue anymore. it comes to judgment whether any man repents of his sins or not
it comes down to faith and repentance, diligence and valiancy, exaltation and sanctification.

which church is right
Whose religion is right?
This is the timeless question. It doesn't quite bother me that there are believers and non-believers(which it does, but not as much), but then you have these different religions that all think they are right, and on top of that you have these denominations within those religions that disagree on certain issues..And then we're all happily smiling and thinking we are all going to heaven. But then would it be unsafe to assume that we are all going to heaven since we are all (well not all) but some of us are actually following our religious doctrine ..
You are: witnessofJesus Your Answer: theoretically every religion is "right"
realistically few are absoluetly correct if, any, at all.
"11 While I was laboring under the extreme difficulties caused by the contests of these parties of religionists, I was one day reading the Epistle of aJames, first chapter and fifth verse, which reads: If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him...
"13 At length I came to the conclusion that I must either remain in adarkness and confusion, or else I must do as James directs, that is, ask of God.
"When the light rested upon me I saw two Personages, whose brightness and glory defy all description, standing above me in the air. One of them spake unto me, calling me by name and said, pointing to the other This is My Beloved Son. Hear Him!"'
"18 My object in going to inquire of the Lord was to know which of all the sects was right, that I might know which to join...
"I asked the Personages who stood above me in the light, which of all the sects was right (for at this time it had never entered into my heart that all were wrong)—and which I should join.
19 I was answered that I must join none of them, for they were all wrong;"

question asked by Cal agnosit Atheist
all though i am a witness and a believer in christ, therefore called a christian, i am not a saint nor am i fully wholy and sanctified and though i am a believer and a christian i do not believe in the trinity because the doctrine of the godhead, in my opinion is more biblical than the trinity is
on the idea of a higher power and being bhudist, remember one thing! Jesus is/has been declared to be the bhuda issa.
i have seen the glory of jesus, and the person who i saw stood withing 3 to 6 feet of my out of body spirit.
Yes there is a higher being, and then there is Jesus who sits on the throne of God, see revelation 3:21 and 21:7
atheists in my opinion are either outright "liars" becasue they are enemies of God and righteousness and serve Lucifer, or they are outright deceived, they have to be deceived on many levels, even in the simplest interpretations of science. creationscience.com NOW, in all due respect, people are gullable no matter who they are . and there is so much social engineering in the world and control in public schools that it is nearly impossible to tknow the truth if the ALL the truth is debunked before it is even defended and if people trust everyone who teaches it. ive heard a handful of christian scientists who logically and reasonably discuss teh sciences of creation and with the scientific method than evolutionist will allow through the anonymous peer reveiw which is totally corrupted
other religious belief is what i am about NoWadays. i started out life with a single mother who was atheist by the time i was 18 and without much religious background i went from a catholic family to almost being a satanist to being born again of protestant christianityy to becoming LDS. when i was protestant i believed Hook line and sinker in the pastors that taught the trinity, and becasue the jehova witnesses and the mormons thorough taught the trinity to not be true, i have realized that religious itnerpretation of the bible is in Error. world wide.
but just because confusion and error do exist Does not mean that Jesus did not live and breath and did not die and ressurect. again i am a witness.
homosexuals are just like atheists. they either deny the Holy Ghost or God and ignore the commandments of the ancients, or they believe in God and reject modern interpretations of ancient scritpure
homosexuality might have a form of love between domestic partnership, but it is definitely of a lesser degree of glory than even of that of being celibacy. and celibacy is the exception to God ordained marriage and fulfilling the burden of family and covenants of the gosple.
i ve answered these questions in different ways and with different perspectives, so check them out.
this was an answer before i edited it to the question of the existence of God. 9:52 AM 12/8/2009
question asked by Cal
Questions for religious people? (mainly christian)?
Please forgive my ignorance, but I don't know many religious people. I am agnostic, but I am open to religion, particularly Buddhism and Baha'i, but I don't worship or believe in a higher power for several reasons that I won't get into (I don't want to cause hate or arguing I'm just curious).
Well, what is your opinion of athiests and those who are agnostic (if they are respectful of others beliefs)?
What is your opinion of homosexuals (again, if they are respectful to you)?
Are you open to the concept (or a particular concept or belief) of other religions?
I ask because I saw someone post a while ago "if you are agnostic, im sorry, but youre going to hell for that": to me that implicitly suggests that God is forcing people to worship him or He will punish them with eternal torment, which seems more like a dictatorship, and an abuse of power. (I in no way suggest this be my view of religion, but it would be if this is the case).
Thanks, again, forgive my ignorance, I'm just curious.

death Life resurrection in christ
truthquest asked this question:
Christians - Do people have any consciousness of
time between death and their resurrection?
For example, Moses, King David, or even those
destroyed in Sodom or someone that died 5 minutes
ago.
Do any of them have any conscious thought in the
grave?
Will their next conscious thought be when they are
resurrected?
14 hours ago - 3 days left to answer
I answered, after one revision,:
yes
first jesus says though a spirit be in hell if he call
upon the his name, he shall be saved, though he
were dead he would live in the spirit
he also talked to moses and elias on the mount of
transfiguration before the resurrection
John 11: 25
25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the
life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead,
yet shall he live:
Matt. 17: 3-4
3 And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and
Elias talking with him.
4 Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it
is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make
here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for
Moses, and one for Elias.
Mark 9: 4-5
Luke 9: 30, 33
now, again, while it is proven that people have
existence in the spirit world before the resurrection,
it is ALSO written that some do not live until after
the first resurrection
Rev. 20: 5
5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the
thousand years were finished. This is the first
resurrection.
this does NOT mean thy have no knowledge or
existence (it does mean that the resurrection is
called life and death is called separation of the body
and the spirit)
