the salem witch trials began with the earnest desire to keep the commandments of God, when it was found that 3 girls were caught with a book of witchcraft. the girls themselves turned the guiltiness from their own heads, to the allegations of innocent people who were killed in other profane ways.

wickedness and abominations and sorceries and witchcrafts, priestcrafts, and secret combinations are the buzz-words of a people that are MORE wicked than others.
The book of mormon and D&C do allow the use of Herbs with "prudence" but the bible condemns the use of Homeopathy. while, at the same time, describing God giving commandment to gather ingredients to create a medicine that cures a poison of the land. i rented this movie, and found it entertaining as a variable theology.
its four hours long, so dont think you can rent this and view on a casual night.
its worth watching to me, for a couple of reasons.

i mentioned this on Q&A R&S as an alternate theology theory how, sons of God and saviours might be born.
however, on Yahoo, when i wrote what i did, i didnt realize that this Redeemer was a half breed Nephelim.
in this movie the Angels consider all nephelim as bastards.

Did jesus found the catholic church...i have a bible verse?
ok. so FIRST off, jesus chose 12 apostles, and peter as the 'head'

person he told him in Matthew 16:18 - 19: "and so i say to you, you are

Peter, and upon this rock i will build my church, and the gates of the

netherworld shall not prevail against it. I will give you the keys to

the kingdom of heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in

heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven."

so the 12 apostles were suppose to spread the word of God and they

needed more people to do that too, so they appointed bishops and

priests....well. the catholic church has popes and the first one was

peter and through matthew 16:18-19 with jesus saying MY church and

giving peter the keys to his kingdom...shouldn't it be said that Jesus

founded the catholic church. BUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! listen.

CATHOLIC is just a name....a WORD. JUST because it isn't IN the Bible

in protestant bibles there are verses that are missing in the NiV

Catholicism cannot save. Only believing in Jesus for His free gift of

salvation, is what saves!

So, catholics need to get away from catholicism, and instead, believe in

JESUS for His free gift of salvation!

Jesus is God, and Jesus loves you so very much! :D And the Trinity is

The truth about Jesus is that the only way to be saved and to get into

heaven and avoid being sent to hell, is by believing in Jesus for His

free gift of salvation, believing in faith alone that Jesus, who is God,

died on the cross for all our sins as FULL PAYMENT for all our sins, and

then Jesus rose from the dead (1 Corinthians 15:1-4). Believe in Jesus

for His free gift of salvation, and you will be in heaven, no matter

what!

Salvation is a FREE GIFT that happens in a split second when you believe

in Jesus alone to save you! It is impossible to lose or "leave"

salvation (John 6:39-40, John 10:28, 1 John 5:13).

Please pray now: "Jesus, I believe that You died on the cross to pay for

my sins and that You rose from the dead, and I thank You for eternal

The "Rock" that Jesus spoke of in that verse is the faith in Jesus

Christ as Lord and Savior. It is not Peter himself but rather what peter

believed about Jesus that was the rock Jesus described.

Jesus never gave any authority to written Scripture but instead to His

Church who in turn wrote Scripture to be interpreted within His Church

under the authority given by Him. St. Paul confirms this authority of

the Church through apostolic succession when He instructed to hold fast

have the authority to relinquish that which God has given regardless of

the burden of protecting the Church. The Scriptures promise that this

Church is the “bulwark and ground of the truth” and that promise will

forever remain true.

away from the teaching of the apostles but illuminate it. The authority

given to the Church is great Jesus saying that the Church has the

authority to bind and loose and again the Church is powerless to

abdicate this divine responsibility. Some may say the Scriptures are

true because of the truth they reveal in prophetic testimony and I say

that the Church is true because of its testimony as an enduring Church

for 2000 years just as Christ promised. The only high court of appeal is

our founder, high priest and Savior Jesus the Christ who has never

failed His Church, this relationship no book can supplant for it is

through Him that the Church derives its holiness and its veracity and

its immortality.

One cannot deny that the foundation of all Christianity through His

Church is based on Christ’s words to St. Peter before the disciples.

There is no doubt from the construction vernacular that Jesus was

instructing them to build a Church with them as the foundation stones

and Himself as the cornerstone. He built no other Church as no other was

needed because the One, Holy, Apostolic, Catholic, Church derives its

perfection from Him through His promises. He prayed that we all be one

within this Church. He said this Church would endure until the Parousia.

He said of this Church that the gates of hell would not prevail against

it. He said that He would be with this Church until the end of time. The

Scriptures confirms these promises saying that this Church is the

“pillar and ground of the truth”. He did not plan for the Church to be

without leadership after the apostles died but provided that they choose

successors to replace them in the enduring Church. This is confirmed it

the book of Acts.

One can suggest that this Church is not the Church that Christ gave

these promises and authority to but who else can support a claim that

they are the true church represented by these promises if not the

Catholic church. Some will suggest that the true church is the Gnostics

or the Arians? Certainly remnants of those churches remain in modern

incarnations of these heresies but can one claim the enduring

characteristic promised by Christ? There is certainly no evidence that

anyone can make a legitimate claim to Christ’s promises other than the

Catholic Church. Some critics may claim that the reason that the

Catholic Church has endured is because of political connections, but the

truth is that it has endured because of the miracles of our Lord who

persuaded a Pagan emperor to stop his persecution of the Church and not

by some agreement of men. It is hard to persuade someone who is intent

on your annihilation. Only God could convict the heart of the Pagan

Emperor Constantine.

I would agree that there have always been those believers known to God

who will be saved and I agree but I do not agree that those people are

outside of His Church nor do I believe that it is possible for salvation

without His Church but that it is possible only through his Church,

imperfect, as with our separated brethren with different degrees of the

fullness of truth which is perfected in His Church. All believers are

taught by God through His Church.

While St. Paul spoke about the great apostasy, is it possible that he

Would not that apostate element be more described in the churches

proceeding from the Reformation? Does the Bible not teach that we will

know them by their fruits? It does and what are the fruits of the

Reformation.

Reducing the Word of God to a book and confusing the truth with tens of

thousands of exponentially increasing schisms in the dilution of the

truth. Did not Christ pray that we all be one in His Church?

By forbidding the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Christ from

Protestant worship.

Reducing salvation to a one time assent to faith and then teaching

antinomianism.

Rejecting the authority Christ established.

These are just a few of the signs of a church in apostasy as represented

by the Protestant churches. Could there be a better example of decay and

perversion.

We can all agree as Christians that only God knows who are His faithful

but do not let us confuse the facts of His teaching that we are to be

one in the Church that He created. There is the Church that is gathered

around the Bishop as the early Church is described by St. Ignatius and

then there is the Church known only to God made up of those whose heart

is pure in their love and devotion to God. But regardless they all will

be saved by that which is promised to endure which is His Church. We can

only pray that he will be merciful to the apostate and that they find

the truth before it is too late.

Rofl, but NOT true

there a couple things which i could comment on this.

first i was very interested in the first piece of toast being sold on EBAY as a work of art.
then i saw a news clip somewhere that an artist can easily pre paint the butter or margine onto bread and then the picture appears on the toast.

so i wont believe anything that comes from burning toast. unless an angel says to do it.

also, there are more insidious things than these

recently i had a dream where i spoke on YQ R&S and described seeing the face of a man who had a "scar" over his left eye. i wondered if i had actually seen the real face of Jesus. Last week i realized out of the blue, that men who have scars over the left eye are more likely to have pierced their own eye.
so, it makes more sense to conclude it was not the face of jesus that i saw but the lover of a woman who in the first half of the dream was asking for something, she having an existence that looked like paradise. but he having the power to OVERsee her condition and enough to show me the dream.
dreams become even MORE hideous when they have the appearance of an angel or of tthe direct contradictory appearances of jesus.

in Mormon History there was a band of secret combinations called the Danites.
there are several debatable activities of mormons which can be classified as false. there definitely is some traditions therein which are not the revelations of God.
however, i believe the official scripture cannon is perfect enough to be true more than the teachings of christians because of the nature of the revelations written.

i can quote D&C scriptures which rebuked the saints of the first generation, with commiting sins. Joseph smith himself said a prayer asking about his brethren and his freinds and had it recorded. He didnt even know if he could trust his own freinds. but he prayed for them nevertheless.
but specifically in section 63, the Lord makes mention of the sins of witchcraft and rebuked them... vs 17 -20 of course in these verse he lists 3 major sins. and one of them is also like unto our modern Pornography.

my folly was manifest 7 years ago or thereabout when i was having a debate/discussion with my bishop and as i was reading the verse to emphasize the sorceries, the other parts hit me just as quickly and sharp two edged sword.

a dream i had showed me a space shuttle disaster i watched the fusilages fall off and the shuttle itself spin onto the ground where what looked like hundreds of people were kill, even decapitated. I saw a photographer cowering and i told him to take pictures, it was his job. there were ohter details which are hard to describe as well
i dont put to much emphasis on dreams because most of them are highly wrong

i did have a plane crash in a major city, dream, before 911 but at the time i thought it was only another night mare. ive repeated dreams of nuclear detonations in several places, like ONE over the new york harbor or something like that or another in anchorage. i thinki i had a couple in washington state as well. but then again i seem to dream other peoples' lives in other parts of the country and even off world dreams, more like a star wars scenario. so far the only one that remotely seems true is the nightmare of the plane crash in the city. it was all terrorism
