Another LDS question: can you find a person who has more "faith" in eternal marriage than i?
can you find a person who has more "faith" in eternal marriage than i?
and yet be totally compromised in judgment no matter what i do.
If i seem to be teaching heresy when it comes to marriage and partnership and mastebation, am i satanic?
or not.
for those that read my details and testimonies on masterbation and true interpretation and true interpration of marriage and partnership, even though it seems to contradict the words of God and past interpretations of what chastity really means when it comes to love and mercy and forgiveness. can i be totally wrong, or is there some measure of the gift of hte holy ghost and after years of living with being single and studying the scritpures to come these post-tradtional interpretations.
i still stand by that homosexualuity and sodom y are completely wrong. but when a world never allows a man who has an "eye" single to the glory of God that such a single person is never allowed to be married, how can the evils of lust and fornication and marriage be compromised? how can love and forgiven and mercy be the only options left for all people like myself.
can you find a person who has more "faith" in eternal marriage than i?
and yet be totally compromised in judgment no matter what i do.
sigh, any reasonably very devout LDS is desired to answer, preferably any scholars and high priests.
Lds,! if Totally "strict" abortion rules have their "exceptions", why not also the mercy for masterbation?
ive been over this debate many times. online and offline. men who never marry practice chastity more than men in the priesthood with covenants. either the covenants are wrong or the interpretations are wrong and leave out something that defines uncleanness and sin.
I think many bishops err on the side of love when they ordain deacons and priests and yet even elders are sent home because of masterbation, i this is wrong!
i could give a couple scripture references in the BoM where at least one prophet considered himself not worthy, yet he was called. was he married. ? or did he continue to do duties of the office which he was called to perform.
Not every prphet in the bible was completely perfect either. is cussing or having lips that are contrary that need burning cinders to corrrect the prophets language still the same as revoking the Lords calling for ezekiel?
was alma the one that considereed himself unworthy what about other.
do the mission stake presidents still send people home for confession of master bation.
did any of the apostle fall to weakness and foibles any times when they were separated from wives when they could not have sex. are dreams enough to make elders to go home, ? dreams have been a plauge on priests since before the written laws ever existed.
so many details the scriptures do not talk about. and i think too, also, too many harsh judgments have sent the wrong messages, or the wrong interpretations have been dealt.
i dont say i am correct in everything i have said or implied. i apologize for this publicly, but i kept myself chaste and there are times when i have been overwhelmed with evil and i didnt start out being a saint, i admit that, but i am still a witness, the Lord knows my heart. and the spirit seems to be teaching that this must be said.
because there are something missing from people who judge too harshly.

Do Mormons treat their women as inferior to men?
I asnswered:
not everywhere, but yes
becasue of traditional "biblical" interpretations.
which i think is incorrect the bible says very clearly do not be brutish MEN.
Paul said love your wives. it also says do not provoke your children to anger.
it is apparant with some scienteific facts that women can be superior to men in brain functions. they remember longer but suffer stress longer because they dont forgive!
men suffer stress quicker but they are more prone to forget and thus forgive.
i have know many Priesthood holderst that honestly believer their wives are the "better - half" in fact it is often quoted even in their testimonies.
but i also know of men who still hold to the Pauline words of women not being forgiven.
and of course All LDS must remember the D&C verse which says men and women in our dispensation are forigiven of the "curse" of adam and eve.
there is so much more to discuss and i have discussed some of theings according to my understanding and there are some traditions that were Leaven of the pharisees which traditions some Latter day saintrs still follow which were rebuked by our Lord as he walked the earth.
it require personal revelation and much scripture study and even some historical studies even of places that might be judged superstiously and through primal fears as not to be true.
diclaimer for official policy:
of course these my opinion and may disagree with even stake presidents whom i have always had history of disagreeing with. and it might be that i have come to understanding of most of the truth in these answers i am a witness of jesus christ but that doesnt mean i cannot be in "error" some of the time.
masterbation is the most pressing issues for example i have now.
but then again the spirit is different from one stake president to another as to what truth is actually taught.
