Why were Adam and Eve able to hear god coming in the garden of eden?
It says in Genesis that "When they heard the sound of the lord god moving about in the garden". Isn't god everywhere, wouldn't he have know they ate it the moment they did. Wouldn't he have known the "serpent" was tricking Eve. And why the hell would he be "moving about in the garden"? It also says that god had Adam "tend to the garden" before he sinned. Can't god take care of his own garden?

uhm, your secondary points are debateable, whether God always is everywhere in a dimensional paradox of time travels is not consistent with every doctrine All the time.

andyour question about tending the garden also has to do with research and a labatory, because while Adam might have been in the garden, the gods were also causing men to Mine for Gold.
according to a few people this planet was a prison planet and criminals were sent here to labor in the "mines".
also, if you read the book urantia on genesis, Adam and were not even here while life existed, they came from God as "ambassadors" and then sinned. so the garden story if there is any truth at all might ahve existed somewhere else, maybe on the LDS planet of Kolob.
and you have to determine which "god" was walking in the garden. was it the Pre-existent Jesus who would be in spirit form only because he had not been born. or if it was the Father indeed. most believe it was the Father. if the LDS version of The Father is correct, The Father was already a resurrected personage and could make sounds with his physical body, especially walking in the leaves and branches if they existed. who knows how well the ears of Adam were to hear things. if it was the Spirit of christ walkingin the garden he might have known about the transgression and used a little fear tactic such as rushing wind. even if it was the Father, the same tactic also would be a condition to see how Adam and Eve would react.
as for the the paradox of multidimensional travel or even time travel. i have speculated that the time bubbles we live and exist in, have existed since before Eve ate the forbidden fruit. possibly only since they were cast out of the garden. whenever this time bubble paradox was first created, it probably envelopes All of us and our mortality until the last day of resurrection and possibly even until the end of the 2nd death. it might even cover the OUTER darkness even after mankind and the eart are exalted.
