the occult exists within all of them Yes.
cultic traditions exist in all of christianity. the blind lead the blind everywhere.

in Mormon History there was a band of secret combinations called the Danites.
there are several debatable activities of mormons which can be classified as false. there definitely is some traditions therein which are not the revelations of God.
however, i believe the official scripture cannon is perfect enough to be true more than the teachings of christians because of the nature of the revelations written.

that said:
i can quote D&C scriptures which rebuked the saints of the first generation, with commiting sins. Joseph smith himself said a prayer asking about his brethren and his freinds and had it recorded. He didnt even know if he could trust his own freinds. but he prayed for them nevertheless.
but specifically in section 63, the Lord makes mention of the sins of witchcraft and rebuked them... vs 17 -20 of course in these verse he lists 3 major sins. and one of them is also like unto our modern Pornography.
i dont want to speak evil of the righteous brethren! and i dont want to speak evil of anyone who is walking in the spirit and at least trying to.
but its obvious to me from all the things ive suffered, when it comes to witchcrafts and sorceries people all over the world follow BABLYON and the spirit of her sorceries which deceive the nations. see rev 18:4, 23

verses:
14 There were among you aadulterers and adulteresses; some of whom have turned away from you, and others remain with you that hereafter shall be revealed.
15 Let such beware and repent speedily, lest judgment shall come upon them as a asnare, and their bfolly shall be made manifest, and their works shall follow them in the eyes of the people.
16 And verily I say unto you, as I have said before, he that alooketh on a woman to blust after her, or if any shall commit cadultery in their hearts, they shall not have the dSpirit, but shall deny the faith and shall fear.
17 Wherefore, I, the Lord, have said that the afearful, and the bunbelieving, and all cliars, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie, and the dwhoremonger, and the esorcerer, shall have their part in that flake which burneth with fire and brimstone, which is the gsecond death.
18 Verily I say, that they shall not have part in the afirst resurrection.
19 And now behold, _ I, the Lord, say unto you that ye are not justified, because these things are among you _.
20 Nevertheless, he that aendureth in faith and doeth my bwill, the same shall overcome, and shall receive an inheritance upon the earth when the day of transfiguration shall come;

my folly was manifest 7 years ago or thereabout when i was having a debate/discussion with my bishop and as i was reading the verse to emphasize the sorceries, the other parts hit me just as quickly and sharp two edged sword.

so i dont knowingly excuse myself but i admit my sins and transgressions.
