and Jesus said: "they" have their reward.

but the same religious beliefs Jesus KNEW also taught that investing and Hard work will GET any man all the desires of his heart.
Jesus promised in HIS religioin that a man who loses wives family or houses will receive a hundredfold iN this life.
and THEN in the next life the greatest promise of all is if we Overcome all things, we will be given all things.

Matt. 6: 1-2, 4-6, 16, 18
1 Take heed that ye do not your balms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.
2 Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

so by reading the verses below you will find that christianity ALSO is a religion that teaches wealth in this life and the next
