can true christian organizations really limit the word of God and truth to 66 books and 40 authors?

I KNOW it is an "abomination"
to teach this!

EDIT: So, in your add'l. details, are we quoting from the Apocrypha, to prove that the books of the Apocrypha are indeed, scripture? I don't think so. Their worth as instruction and reproof was then, and still is now, in doubt. The KJV was translated from over 5,300 original non-corrupted manuscripts which were used by every single non-heretical translation since the first century. Those books were not included in that. If you are catholic, then by all means, study and apply them to your life. Why not? Fits right in with the teaching of Limbo and Purgatory.

These are 2 of my most favorite anti mormon verses that you quoted above. they both have been said ten thousand times if not a million.

Deut. 4: 2 (2-3).
2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.
does this not imply by the same context that nothing shouldve been written after Moses!

As for angels, . However in the same book you HAVE to admit is scripture! An angel is declared to have the everlasting gospel to GIVE to the inhabitants of the Earth.
