Why do people hate mormons?

I am mormon there is NOTHING WRONG WITH ME!!!!!!!!!!! I am normal. I am in a punk rock band, and we belive in the same jesus as everybody else! who is satans brother?! we are normal people! the only difference is, is that we dont smoke or drink! we dont have 1 million wives!

I replied:False theology and doctrines of men dominate the christian world. Rumors and gossip and superstition dominate the traditions of mankind.

Every time a prophet is raised up by god, the church, wherever it is located, geographically, strays from the prophet and the teachings of God. They adopt the above and begin to change the words of God into the works of satan. Satan like wolves in sheeps clothing take over, and the church becomes like the angels warns of in REv 18:4.
the people of God begin and do follow satan rather than God.
So when God raised up this church, the understanding of the gospel had changed from the first gospel to something that is not of God. therefore people follow the wrong compass and because their direction is wrong their interpretation is wrong.

So it was with the leaders of Israel in the generation of Jesus. the sandhedrin, the pharisees and the saducees all had incorrect gospel doctrine, even though they had prophetts. it is possible their leaders were completely Possesed by devils incarnate and thus intentionally led astray.

what does anyone else say?

If they DID, than they'd be "allowed" to do things like drink or smoke because to God it doesn't matter what we do or not do, it's all about Him and who He is.

i reply: check the statitistics again! i think you will find there is more , in fact in some place white is the minority.

i reply: actually, no they dont! missionaries are "invited" into non member homes and if they accept baptism they are invited to church. Forced religion is a criminal act against free will. Christianity has been notorious for forced religion, so has Islam been guilty of this.

God has said: repent or die. it is written in the book of mormon and it is found in the acts of Israel history. but does not act on warfare until repentance and diplomacy is Tried.

Got air replied: I don't hate you. In fact, hate is not an attribute of being a Christian so I tend to ignore those who show hatred toward me and suggest you consider doing the same.

I reply: we are commanded by Jesus to love our enemies and pray for them that despitefully use us. does that mean also that we resist not evil or that we resist evil? does that mean you turn the other cheek on all forms of sodomite drug rape! or do you resist and suffer their various forms of torture. Do you hate the acts and pray that these people die! or what?

I reply: there is more to it than submitting archeology found with egyptian cultural artifacts in what is known as "little" egypt. in south central U.S.

there was a stone box with manuscripts found in america which is egyptian like in a magazine called "ancient american"

Aralyn replied:Because you're different, and because people don't know about it. People are cruel, and when they don't understand something, they put it down and make up reasons to justify their feelings.

It's wrong, but at least you have strong faith and a happy life. You're at least one step ahead of them! :-)

it incredibly rude to bug people at home and try and convert them to their religion.

I reply: the same as above. missionaries only come in when they are invited. it is just as rude to have the door slammed in your face, or to be invited in and begin railing against allegations of false religious doctrine. however truth will always be true.

phrog replied: don't take it personal. most people don't like people who are different from them. anything else (ie: 'different Jesus, etc claims) are just excuses to justify the original dislike of someone different.
